Anti-Piracy Task Force

iKey Solutions Anti-piracy operative Gulf of Aden

iKey Solutions, (previously known as Special Intervention Group – SIG), together with our partner Protegimus Protection Ltd has over several years provided professional teams in the fight against maritime piracy in the world’s oceans, especially in the Bay of Aden.  We have protected over 200 ships with great success.
We also use Intel units and allies that provide the teams with fresh Intel to help our crew be up-to-date on the situation in the region.

Teams
At the moment we have teams/units available. Each team normally contains 4 men: One Team Leader, one 2iC, and two security guards (one sniper).  These 8 teams operate as one unit.

Deployment time
The initial teams can be deployed to any location worldwide for maritime missions (anti-piracy) within 2 to 3 weeks, depending on location, client needs, ship type, threat, complexity, etc. They will evaluate the operation to assess the manpower needed for the total operation.

How we do it

We have well-documented and tried out routines and techniques from the field of anti-piracy from the Bay of Aden and other Hi-Risk waters. We deliver reports after every crossing and we work closely with the captain and crew of the ship. We have had great success with armament with our crew, and this is our recommendation in the new scenario that has developed in the region.
